at least that was my experience, for the most part, growing up. which is why I usually only had one very close friend at a time, or just hung out with boys.
but what if it were different?
what if instead of viewing another girl’s accomplishments with competition, we viewed it as inspiration? what if instead of viewing another girl’s beauty with comparison, we viewed it with admiration, as a mirror to our own beauty? what if instead of viewing another girl’s differences with criticism, we celebrated our uniqueness? what if girls stuck #together as a community from the time were young? and what if we, as women and moms and leaders, modeled that type of confidence and community in ourselves?
