Loving my 31bits customizable charm necklace.
Each with the letter of one of my babes 👦🏻🧒🏼👶🏼👼 October is Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Month.
1 in 4 women lose a baby in pregnancy , delivery or infancy. This is a huge number.
As I near what would of been my due date this necklace has been a special reminder of a child I carried within my body ,but never held Earthside.
I’m thankful that all life is an eternal seed. 🌳
To all the women who carry this grief - I see you.
I think as a culture we are numbed out in a lot of ways, and don’t have language for those in pain or grief.
I know I have grown in sensitivity.
The question “ Are you done ? “ when asked about having more kids I think needs to be one that isn’t asked so loosely.
I was asked in the line at Target recently by a total stranger -To which I said “ that’s a hard question. “
To which I also think we shouldn’t ask unless we are actually intimate with people.
These are sacred things.
Our culture doesn’t hold space for sacred.
So “ Are you done? “ can now only be asked if we are eating pumping pie & want more 🥧 😂
To those in grief & pain- I honor the life you carried & now waits for you in the comforting arms of Jesus.
