4ocean x @corona = making waves 🌊
If you haven't heard, we partnered up with Corona🍻 to help combat the plastic pollution crisis in Guatemala.
Guatemala's coastlines are often riddled with plastic, as you've probably seen from a few of our viral videos. This plastic comes from the city, and is washed downstream via the Rio Motagua (one of the most polluted rivers in the world) and pours out into the ocean.
With the help of @corona we've placed a boom system in the Rio Motagua to serve as a floating barrier to help stop the plastic before it reaches the ocean.
Recently, our CEO & Co-Founder @alexjschulze visited Guatemala to celebrate the partnership and educate some of the locals about what was going on. Stay tuned for more epic updates ⚡
