By the looks of it, we'd say our boom system in Guatemala is working... how about you?
In just a week's time, all of the trash seen here flowed down the Rio Motagua and was captured in our boom.
Each pound captured means one less pound of trash entering the ocean. All of the collected material will be transported to our headquarters in Puerto Barrios for processing. This boom collects the good, the bad, and the ugly (plastic, that is) and we will recycle as much as we can.
