On #WorldSeaTurtleDay we recognize the hundreds of sea turtles impacted by plastic pollution that our global cleanup crews have encountered.
Ocean plastic is gnarly... and it threatens marine life every single day. Here you'll see a sea turtle that our crew in Bali came across, swimming around in plastic and entangled in fishing rope.
Thanks to you all, our crew was in the right place at the right time and were able to scoop it up, remove the debris, and safely release the turtle away from patches of plastic.
