In Guatemala, our crew utilizes this enormous barge for transporting the immense amount of trash our crew collects weekly.
Right now, we're focusing on cleaning Guatemala's coastlines where trash washes ashore from the Rio Motagua, one of the most polluted rivers in the world.
Throughout the week, our crew safely stacks super sacks full of trash on the beach as they're cleaning. Then on barge day, the sacks are loaded up and taken back to our main facility in Puerto Barrios to be sorted sorted and processed.
