We're facing a never-ending battle with plastic pollution in Guatemala.
During the rainy season in Guatemala, mounds of plastic pollution flows down the Rio Motagua (a river that runs through the country) and washes up on the coastline. It took our crew about a year to clear the trash from last year's rainy season, and within a week, it was all back.
We're dedicated to cleaning this mess up, but it's going to take a much larger systematic change to prevent this from continuing to happen. Visit 4ocean.com to learn how you can support Team Guatemala's cleanup efforts.
