Blue sharks are the most migratory shark in the ocean, meaning they travel vast distances in search of food and mates. Commercial fishing has turned every migration run into a gauntlet of longline and gillnet fisheries. The combined threats of overfishing, entanglement, and illegal finning have caused some populations to decline by as much as 80%
We’re donating $1 to @padiaware for every Blue Shark Bracelet sold this month. Our donation will be used to advance key issues in ocean conservation, including action to secure protections and reverse population declines for vulnerable shark and ray species by 2030.
