For the first time ever, we’re taking our professional cleanup crews below the ocean’s surface to help recover these tires and protect our coral reefs in an area that spans 34 acres of seabed where hundreds of thousands of loose tires have migrated.
Right now, we're utilizing specialized lift bags to send the tires to the surface until we can scale the operation. These lift bags are a vital piece of equipment for this particular type of cleanup, and we're stoked to continue to develop our strategy as we grow and expand this operation.
