Team Haiti removed over 7,800 pounds of trash from this coastline!
Yep, you read that right. Our professional cleanup crews in Haiti recently took on this heavily polluted coastline off St. Marc and were able to recover 7,895 pounds of trash within this single mission.
While our crews usually find a majority of single-use plastic during cleanups, we found a lot of abandoned fishing gear, such as nets and ropes, during this cleanup. These items pose as a serious entanglement threat for marine life, which is why we're glad we were able to remove them.
