We’re introducing our limited edition Hammerhead Shark Bracelets in partnership with One Ocean Diving, Research & Conservation to raise awareness about the dual threats of plastic pollution and overfishing that are causing hammerheads to disappear from our oceans.
Hammerhead sharks are apex predators usually found in the coastal waters of warmer seas. The combined threats of overfishing and entanglement in marine debris have caused some populations to decline by as much as 80%. Right now, 6 of 9 hammerhead species are threatened with extinction, which is why they’re our cause of the month for August 2021.
