Team Florida has been working hard to pull pounds lately!
Last week, we checked in on Team Florida to find that they've been working hard to clean up the trash left behind by Fourth of July celebrations within the Boca Raton Intracoastal.
On July 6th, our Florida cleanup crews visited Lake Wyman Park, which rests within the Boca Raton intracoastal. During this mission they collected a lot of "party trash" such as single-use plastic and empty alcohol bottles.
While we love a good celebration, we don't love when the ocean is polluted. Please consider using sustainable alternatives to single-use plastic, and of course never leave your trash behind.
