We recently checked in on Team Haiti to find that they've been absolutely dominating the ocean cleanup game! During a recent cleanup mission, they removed over 3,841 pounds of trash from this coastline off St. Marc.
Most of what they collected was single-use plastic. As it's Plastic Free July this month, this is a great reminder how important your individual choices are when it comes to single-use plastic consumption.
Today, this puts us at 15,757,673 total pounds to date and even closer to our 16 million pounds goal!
