We're continuing to 'shellebrate' World Turtle Day!
Our professional cleanup crews in Bali recently came across this Hawksbill Sea Turtle trying to swim through a patch of plastic within the Melaya Ocean.
Hawksbill Sea Turtles are very common in this region, and our cleanup crews often come across them during cleanup missions. They're known for being one of the smallest species of turtles, making it easy for them to become entangled in plastic debris and abandoned fishing gear.
Thankfully, our cleanup crews were in the right place at the right time and were able to remove this little turtle from the patch of plastic, and safely release it in an area free of plastic debris.
