Our professional cleanup crews recently came across this mangrove forest in La Gonâve that was entirely overrun by trash.
They removed over 1,547 pounds of trash such as styrofoam containers, plastic wrappers and bottles, and even a TV!
Restoring mangrove forests is vital as they are essential to the ocean's bio diversity. In fact, they serve as critical nursing environments for the juveniles of thousands of species of fish.
