Our Bali team recently paid our boom system in the Ijo Gading River a visit. ⠀

The Ijo Gading River is Bali's largest ocean plastic contributor, accounting for 12% of the province's total ocean leakage. Our captains and crews installed this boom system in July of 2019 to stop plastic pollution from flowing down the river and into the ocean. ⠀

This boom system, along with the various other tools and technology we use during cleanup missions, has allowed Team Bali to recover over 620,730 pounds of ocean-bound trash from the Ijo Gading River alone since 2018.⠀
