On May 15, 2020, the world lost a hero. Kevin Mehaffey, at the age of 30, tragically lost his life in a car accident. He leaves behind his grieving fiancée and their baby girl who is due to be born in August.⠀

Kevin was a firefighter and paramedic at Pembroke Pines Fire Department. When he wasn’t working hard to save lives, he was working equally as hard to save the ocean. In 2016, Kevin’s passion for the ocean led him to work alongside 4ocean’s co-founders as the company’s very first boat captain. He was the first to pull pounds in Florida.⠀
