We were able fill over a dozen sacks with plastic waste removed from the ocean and even helped out a small sea turtle who had got himself caught in a ghost net.
Experts have estimated that there are roughly 640,000 tons of ghost fishing nets currently in our ocean, accounting for 10% of the total waste in the sea.
