They are often one of the worst offenders of plastic pollution and are found during every single one of our cleanups in Haiti - yet people continue to purchase them over and over again when there are several alternatives available (tap water, reusable water bottles, canned water, water pods). Just 10 years ago, we humans used 300 billion fewer plastic bottles per year than we do now.
