More than 8 million tons of plastic ends up in the ocean every year. Most of this plastic is washed into the ocean by rivers. The top polluting rivers all have two things in common; a high population living around them and a poor waste management system.
We are committed to stopping plastic pollution and its source by not only cleaning rivers that contribute to this problem but also doing what we can to raise awareness around single-use plastic alternatives.
