#Dive4Makos is a petition focused initiative relating to the population of the Atlantic Short Fin Mako. The goal of this petition is to pressure the top Mako fishing countries to adopt the International Commission for the Conservation of Atlantic Tunas (ICCAT) recommendations to cut the Shortfin Mako catch limit to zero. Even with a zero-catch limit placed, the species only has a 54% chance of recovering by 2040.
