This month we've partnered with the Florida Atlantic University® Marine Research Lab. The ingestion of plastic and entanglement in marine debris such as floating ghost nets or nylon buoy lines injures and even kills countless numbers of sea turtles every year. Unfortunately, much of this goes unrecorded by scientists because it predominantly takes place in the open ocean. By partnering with the FAU Marine Research Lab, we can help contribute to the reduction of marine debris through our cleanups while they focus on conservation efforts to increase sea turtle numbers in the wild. #4SeaTurtles #4Ocean #JoinTheMovement
