Like other marine animals, sea turtles need to rise to the surface to breathe. When they become entangled in ghost netting, it can keep them from reaching the surface and possibly drown. By partnering with the Florida Atlantic University® Marine Research Lab, we are working to not only clean the oceans and coastlines but make it safer for sea turtles altogether. As the FAU® Marine Research Lab works to research and understand the data they collect to help increase sea turtles in the wild, we'll be working to make sure that the ocean is a safe place for them to inhabit. #4SeaTurtles #4Ocean #OceanConservation 📸: @wanderwoman_hk
