Every year, tens of thousands of sea turtles are affected by plastic and trash in the ocean. The ingestion of plastic and entanglement in marine debris such as floating ghost nets or nylon buoy lines injures and even kills countless numbers of sea turtles. Much of this goes unrecorded by scientists because it predominantly takes place in the open ocean. By partnering with the Florida Atlantic University® Marine Research Lab, we're not only able to reduce the amount of marine debris in our oceans and on our coastlines, but we can make sure that none of these harmful items make it into sea turtle habitats. #4Ocean #SeaTurtles #OceanConservation
