Being a #4owavemaker has definitely been a light in my life.
I was born with a disability that causes widespread pain on a daily basis. This condition can’t be cured, and there’s minimal treatments available for it. However, I’ve found joy and freedom in water! In the water, I lose a lot of the pain that I carry on a daily basis. It’s the best therapy for me, both physically and mentally.
Through this connection to the water, I’ve discovered the joy of living. But when I found out about the plastic crisis that is plaguing the ocean, I knew I had to act.
