💞Valentines Day is SO much MORE than just gifts...

When I was absolutely LOVED the idea of Valentines and getting chocolate and a stuffed animal. I didn't realize till I got older that this holiday has ALWAYS been so materialistic. I have always thought that it is truly sad that a lot of people assume this should be one of the few days that they should show much they care about someone. The idea that ONE day out of the whole year should represent your love for someone is just absurd.
😭Valentines has also become even MORE about what kinds of gifts you receive and if your bf/gf or even husband or wife ASKS you to be their valentine😬. This is truly sad to me. It is almost as if you are measuring how much someone loves you by what they give you which is NOT right at all.
🥹Think about it this way also... So many people are buying 🐻teddy bears🐻, 🍫 chocolates🍫, 🌹roses🌹, etc that do NOT last forever and you most likely will throw away real soon because they ALL say Valentines day 2024. We are giving SO much money towards these big name companies that do so much harm to our environment because of the loads of products that end up in the landfill.
