Today is the start of a month long challenge of removing single use plastic from our daily routines.
By practicing this short term commitment during July—it will allow you to examine your consumption habits, adjust & eliminate food waste, and also switch to environmentally friendly alternatives that you can afford.
Even if you can’t make any switches, you can always find plastic products that are easier to recycle and that you can reuse or repurpose so it won’t be single use.
All plastic is labeled with a recycling number and the numbers 1, 2, and 5 are the most easily recyclable plastics you can put in your curbside pickup.
Numbers 3, 4, 6, and 7 are the hardest to recycle so if possible—try avoiding these numbers on your plastic containers ♻️🛍️
