I am all for supporting brands who care about the planet.
Last weekend I had the honor of attending ripcurl_indo x 4ocean art reveal at the Canggu store. The installation by reyannemustafa used 640 kg of discarded fishing nets found on the beach.
The artwork is a collaborative effort that involved the hands of skilled local women artisans who wove each individual thread on the canvas. Also it took the ladies 4 hours to get on a bus for the art reveal and they were honestly so inspiring 🥹
