At #Chromat we value ethical production and high quality sustainable materials- two major factors that affect our price point. The other factor is our wholesale markup, so the pieces can be available in places like Nordstrom and Barneys.
Since we did not want to sacrifice ethical production at our factories in NYC and the EU or forgo our focus on sustainability, we decided that cutting out the wholesale markup was the best way to ensure the price of our garments could be more accessible. This has allowed us to lower our retail price point so most swim suits and sets are available for under $200- starting now!
