The glamour of this photo is nothing like what happens in order to get here. As the seasons here in Utah turn to colder and darker, the people who are serious about training are barely getting started. Others stop waking up early, or missing out on elements of their training because it’s too cold, too dark. When the lights shine bright the crowd will cheer for the victor and they will be the one who trained the hardest with no witnesses. Never confuse what you see on the floor with what it takes to get there. This picture is the reward. Love the process, the Victory is short lived.
