We use the power of business to help solve social and environmental problems by voluntarily meeting rigorous standards of transparency, accountability, and performance. Becoming a Certified B Corporation is a difficult accomplishment, and we did it right from the very beginning.
To be certified as a B Corporation, a brand must meet high standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. We are pleased to participate in this growing community of more than 2,600 Certified B Corps from 50 countries and over 150 industries working together toward one unifying goal: to redefine success in business.
What makes Beautycounter a B Corp: safer products, sustainability, charitable giving, advocacy, and transparency. For example, we ban over 1,500 ingredients from our product formulations and we screen every potential ingredient for 23 health and safety endpoints, including information on specific hazards like cancer, developmental toxicity, hormone disruption, and infertility.
We are proud to have been recently re-certified as a B Corporation with a score of 95—our highest rating ever and a 14-point jump from two years ago.
