Exactly! So why are so many people not paying attention and doing just that? Have to look way beyond recycling. Have you ever thought about how the products you use everyday could impact not only your health, but also the earth? Have you ever thought about how the plastic body scrubs or bubble bath, (once they go down the drain), impact the earth? It is important to remember that the choices we make today matter tomorrow! That is our focus at Beautycounter. We are built on the belief that better products are possible and available, and that healthy communities are built household-by-household, family-by-family, and person-by-person.

Beautycounter is a certified B Corporation. The B stands for “benefit,” and it means that, unlike the traditional corporate structure, we consider people, planet, and profits equally. We use the power of business to help solve social and environmental problems by voluntarily meeting higher standards of transparency, accountability, and performance. Beautycounter starts with an empty bottle and an unwavering commitment to developing products that protect your health, your home and the environment. **
Beautycounter chooses product packaging based on performance, safety, recyclability, and cost, and sources materials made in the U.S.A. whenever possible. We use glass and bio-based plastics, favor plastics that are not known to leach toxic chemicals, and those with high post-consumer recycled content and which are recyclable in most communities. Secondary packaging is kept to a minimum and we use recycled and FSC-certified paper for packaging and shipping materials.
