A flower doesn't care what is next to it, or what, when, why, or how it's going to bloom.There is just one person in the world with whom you should compete – it is you yesterday. Just try to be better than yesterday, try to achieve more than you achieved yesterday. Try a new thing you were fearful of. Try to push yourself through a challenge. Day by day.
If we spend less time focusing on how we match up in comparison to others we would have more time to focus on our own growth. So, as you start every day, starting now, bloom on your own. Flowers are not concerned with the success of other flowers around them. Instead they focus on themselves, and themselves ONLY - leaving the rest of the flowers to grow on their own, too
So as we head into 2020, let's dedicate ourselves to becoming a better, stronger, more successful version of ourselves. Blinders on please!
