My heart drops every time I watch the news. Latest numbers I read last night upwards of 25,000 Koalas that have died in the horrific wildfires in South Australia. These poor animals. They are estimating that almost half a billion (480 million) animals have been killed by the Bush fires including some birds, reptiles and other mammals. Those that have survived the fires will probably die later due to destruction to their habitat.
