Today, we’re taking pause—but we’re certainly not taking a break. In order to take action on our pledge to do better, we must turn inward and reflect on how we MUST show up for our Black community in a more meaningful way.
Here’s what we’re committed to:
1. Standing (and staying) in solidarity with our Black community.
2. Donating resources to support organizations dedicated to eradicating racism (more info coming soon—we are identifying platforms that will get to the root of the issue, like Black Lives Matter).
3. Examining our corporate policies and diversity programs and initiatives with a more thoughtful, impactful lens.
4. Advocating for ongoing policy change and mobilizing our community to vote in November’s election.
5. Continually checking in and having transparent conversations about anti-racism both at HQ and in our community (that includes all of you).
6. Sharing resources we find helpful like the national Movement for Black Lives, Campaign Zero, and the NAACP and Black Lives Matter (link in bio).
7. Learning and listening to all of you, starting now. Tell us what you've been finding helpful recently and what you need from us.
We're listening. Black lives matter. #blackouttuesday #amplifymelanatedvoices
