#Repost @thecut - wanted to share. Let's all enjoy our summer best we can but I think we just need a gentle reminder this Pandemic is far from gone. It has only been more quiet as people, up until now, have been careful. ---

Please friends, still use caution and PPP when heading out to public bars and restaurants and any public gatherings with people you don't know. Any day now, your community could have a resurgence. Anyone, any state, any age, any race. This virus does not care. A host is a host, just the way it is. Coronavirus is not selective. Continue to be smart when heading out into a public space surrounded by people you do not know. You have no idea where they have been before you. You have no idea if they wore a mask or not or had contact unknowingly with someone infected. Just stay vigilant. Be safe when not around those you know well.

Erika Crisp, a 40-year-old heath-care worker in Jacksonville, Florida, said she and her friends had been “doing everything the right way” before they went to Lynch’s Irish Pub on the night of June 6. Crisp said she was careful about staying indoors and practicing social distancing. But when Florida reopened its bars on June 5, she decided to take advantage of the state’s lifted restrictions and go to Lynch’s. Days later, she and 15 of her friends all tested positive for COVID-19.
According to the New York Times, Florida is one of the 21 states currently seeing a rise in the number of COVID-19 cases, with the number spiking with re-openings.
I just do not want another spike here in my area so let's do our part to help that not happen.
