I've been thinking a lot lately about the word "love". A few months ago, when I was walking out of a local liquor store by my house (been going there off and on for almost 20 years), one of the owners exclaimed "love you!!!". It made me so happy, it was so unexpected and I quickly exclaimed "I love you back!!" What a rad vulnerable dude. We still shout it every time. It made me think a lot about how many conditions we have with that word. How hard it is for people to use, how many rules we have with how, when, and with who it should be used. People say it's even "over used". But how? How could the most amazing of human emotions ever be considered as too much? Who is anyone to tell you what and who you can love, and when? Or how it should be measured? There's such a stigma behind the word... I would say even more than the word "hate." People never correct you if you say you hate something. I think the world would be so much better if the fear behind the word "love" and the emotion were not as great. So on that note, I love you guys! The ones who have been shopping with me for 14 years, and the ones who came to only their first class yesterday, and some I have not even met. I love love ya and hope your day is filled with all sorts of sprinkles & heaps of love! ? #MarciRant haha maybe when people check out I'll just start yelling "love you" instead of "have a nice day". Fuck it, right? ❤? I want to "over use" the shit out of my favorite word. Haha #Love
