I had the most beautiful story told to me at Lula today. ???❤️ a very kind gentleman came in to purchase his wife a "just because" gift. I told him he was a great hubby, to which he replied "well.. she's a great wifey." I asked how long they had been together... and that's where this true love story had me in tears. He said they met in 1971 and dated for 3 years.. the night he was going to propose, life went a little sideways. I'm paraphrasing. He thought of her for the next 30 years. One day he logged into his 40 year high school reunion page and received a 3 page email from her the next day. It explained that she had not stopped thinking of him either. ? they courted over email, she flew to California and one week later he proposed. Just as he had intended to 40 years before and with the song he wrote to propose to 40 years before. It's like they had never been apart. ❤️ They've been together ever since as she was "the one". I feel so blessed to be able to hear stories like that. He said he loves telling it so I thought I would share it with you. I hope I did it justice ?
