I had an old friend stop by the shop yesterday. I knew her from college in Seattle, have not seen her in almost 20 years. She had to leave our program early because her husband had a brain tumor which he would later lose his life to. And then, less then a year ago, she lost her son to cancer too. As I listened to this beautiful strong woman speak, I was reminded that my problems are insignificant. Emotions, bills, car not starting, and other stresses are temporary. We all have struggles, we all have a right to be stressed, be sad, and even angry sometimes. But we are all in this together, and the fact that we woke up is a blessing so many others didn't have today. ❤️ So today I'm gonna spend time focusing on my blessings, I have so many. ? I'm going to be grateful that I'm alive to even experience these tiny stresses, and this roller coaster called life. Hope everyone has a good day and can be grateful for even the tiniest little things as well. ??❤️
