Just got this beautiful locket in the mail today from my mamma. She found it in an envelope addressed from my father to me and dated 1978. ❤️ It was Lola's. Lola was Lula Mae's Daughter. She passed when my gramma (her daughter) was 4, so it must be at least 100 years old. It has a photo of my great, great, great grandfather in it. My favorite part is the spring loaded jump ring, I've never seen anything like it. I wonder what the little dips and nicks are... I like to imagine my fiesty little grams used to use the locket as a teether. ??Cool to get a bit of history today. I don't imagine I'll be taking it off, neat to think that at one time Lula herself held onto it. ❤️ I believe in good luck charms. #LulaMae
