This weekend is one year since this little bug and I met! We hosted a rescue outside of Lula. Every Time I put her back in the kennel she would cry. I thought she was a boy cause she was so tough, and apparently I'm sexist haha She would lay on top of her siblings to keep them warm that day. Anywho, at first I said no to taking her home because of Tonka. Then on Christmas Eve, the rescue sent me a selfie of her... And I was done. Haha I picked her up that day and we took off on my annual Christmas road trip, this year I'm only staying a mile away cause I can't leave Tonka haha. Thanks to piggy, Tonka started to trust me and improve even more. I love Pig LaRue. There were days this year that I couldn't have cracked a smile were it not for her. I've rescued 15 animals over my little lifetime, I'm basically a zoo keeper. My vet says the know a sucker when they see one. ?
