Happy Birthday toooo me! ? I'm 38 today!! ? I was trying to find an old pic, cause if I did a birthday selfie today, as sick as I am, I'd scare you all. This one made me emo. I matched the store interior paint to the boat house my dad and I built when I was little. It was for an old wood chris kraft. I always got to help my pops with projects, and I practically grew up on a lake. My dad raised me from the age of 4-9, and then married the best gift I ever received, my mom @jackielrt . She says she panicked a little about what to do with such a little Tom boy haha. But we've been best friends since the day we met. Well, except from the age of 16-20 haha Anywho, this year is big for me cause I just outlived my birth mother, Irene. I hear she was soft spoken, and so sweet. ❤️ I wouldn't change the direction or the events of my life for anything. A healer recently told me that she was shocked that I didn't have a split personality based on all the trauma my little life has endured (I thought my customers might disagree haha) But seriously, she said it's the soul I have. I don't look at them like that, I look at them as little pieces that made me into the chick I am today. ❤️ And as far as I'm concerned, I've had way more blessings in my life than hard times. So today, I'm feeling really grateful for being born, for who I am, and for being blessed with such amazing loved ones. I don't look at the last 38 years as anything but little lessons, gifts and joys. I feel like the luckiest gal to have the life I've had, have, and will have. I'm clumsy, goofy, ignorant at times. I'm stubborn, forgetful, a bad listener, neurotic, anxiety ridden, and a nut. But I absolutely love who I am and wouldn't trade places with anyone. Thank you Irene for bringing me into the world; and thank you mom for guiding me through it. I know what it feels like to be loved cause of you, and that's a pretty complete life if you ask me. ?
