Just got home. Today was a rad day all around! Started at 9:00 with a meeting. Had visits from old friends and new, and a fancy lunch with chats about life, love, and the bigger picture. ? This week is the week holiday is displayed. It's one of the busiest weeks of my year, shifting the store. I love it. But I'm an entrepreneur, BITCH! No I didn't check email today, and when you call the shop 1 hour after opening to inform me you sent an email, big news is I didn't get it yet. I'm the owner, buyer, merchandiser, web designer, window displayer, accountant, secretary, receiving dock, etc. of three small businesses. I don't sit behind a desk all day with a scheduled lunch break and two 10 minute rest breaks that my boss requires, or paid vacations. Fuck the longest vacation I've had in 10 years is 3 days!! No offense to those that do, only to those that don't get it) So please fuck off. I wouldn't trade what I do for the world, and I do the best I can. ?? And side note: posting here on good old IG has nothing to do with your emails, calls, future appointments either.
