? My little sweetie passed away tonight. I got home from work and she was gone. She wasn't sick so it was a terrible shock. Im so glad she passed away in her sleep... Snuggled up. She was just wrapped around my head last night purring. This pic is about 4 years ago, doing what she loves best. Sweetie was rad. We found her at the Casa Bianca dumpster only 12 years ago. And as my mom says, no one fits the name better. She was just super simple and sweet. This week has been so full of loss and I'm trying so hard to keep going. And I'm trying so hard to find a "positive" in it all. But I guess we can't always do that. This time it's a lesson. To remember to call your grams more often, to remember to check in with old friends that mean the world to you more often, and to remember that even when we have busy lives we need to make it a top priority to give those around us love. People and our fur babies. As much as we can. Loves not just about receiving, it's about giving as well. And all sweetie did was give. She was a mamma to all the kitties and used to lick piggy clean when she was a baby. I'm going to try to be better at reaching out starting tomorrow. Bye little sweetie... Thanks for being you. ?
