My grandma Charlene was raised by Lula Mae. She has the best stories about her - stories about her chasing people off the front porch with a shotgun, to telling my grandma "you get pregnant by kissing a man so don't" (I think that's why my grandma married at 17 haha) to giving her husband a shot of whisky every night and telling him it was "good for his health." ❤️ She was a classic southern firecracker.
