Happy Mother's Day to both my moms. ? the one who gave me life, and the one who guides me through it. My birth mother Irene passed away when I was four. You can be damn sure I was an absolute little shit to any woman my dad tried to date... Until he met Jackie. When they decided to get married I was 9, we were in the back of a cab and my dad pulled out a ring and said "will you marry us" . ❤️ She sat me down and asked permission to legally adopt me and become my mom. I replied with excitement that this would be the best thing ever, as long as she could sing haha because "all moms in the movies know how to sing" haha it's amazing how simple things are when you're a child. Mom... You are the most amazing woman I know, you are strong, beautiful, encouraging, and selfless. Thanks for loving me unconditionally. You had the hardest job of all.
