Since 2007, Police Constable Jennifer Dekezel has run a community-based program called “Girlz will be Girlz” which mentors deserving young girls who have come from troubled homes in Toronto. -
Through the program, these young girls learn life skills and receive mentoring to live active healthy lives with P.C. Dekezel dedicating much of her own time to ensuring they receive the care and support they need to succeed.

As a result of her outstanding community engagement and professionalism, P.C. Dekezel has been selected as this month's @citizenwatchcanada Community MVP.
