Congratulations to Geraldine Heaney on being named a @citizenwatchcanada Community MVP!
A native of North York, Geraldine has lived her passion for hockey and giving back to the community her whole life. She was a former Team Canada Women’s Olympian and a 2013 Hockey Hall of Fame Inductee. After a successful hockey career, she has spent the last 8 years coaching various minor hockey teams and recently competed in the Maple Leafs PlayStation Platinum Cup as coach of the Atom AAA Hamilton Junior Bulldogs. She is also an advocate of women in sports and runs various skills camps across Hamilton for young girls. Thank you for your dedication to hockey, Geraldine!
