#Repost @nathanjr ・・・ Suppose I am supposed to call this “training”....but it was way too fun for that. So easily could not have happened. Weather forecast all week called for a wet wknd in just about every corner of the state. Drove through pouring rain last night to the trailhead. Woke up to light drizzle. Futzed with my gear and watched a bunch of other guys load up and head for home (they had CO plates - figures! 😉). Thought I’d at least get my stuff on and go for a short spin. I’d come all this way. 3hrs later and barely a drop of rain - tacky trails and not a soul in sight. Moral of the story: GO! Also...the desert is amazing when it’s wet - especially the smell.
