To be a Mama is to L O V E with your whole heart and know that no matter how big they grow, they'll always be your babe (or know that you can tell yourself that to feel ok about the bittersweetness of it all ?)
After becoming a mother, I understand my Mom so much more now and all of the choices she made. Never did a day go by where we weren't at the forefront of her mind and heart; through hardships and challenging times she had an unwavering commitment to us to bring creativity, laughter and the feeling of possibility into our lives - and she still does! And now, we get to take care of her and she is able to enjoy this beautiful little muffin that is her granddaughter. It's a cyclical love like no other.
